Turkish Legal and Conference Interpreter

I was raised in a bilingual, bi-cultural household, and speak Turkish and English at a native level. I have been working as a full-time professional interpreter and translator for 20 years.

I hold a Master’s degree in conference interpreting (with distinction; from London Metropolitan University). I also hold the Diploma in Public Service Interpreting (DPSI; distinction in all oral categories), the Diploma in Translation (DipTrans; with distinction in Literature & Social Sciences), and I have passed the London Metropolitan Police Force assessment (with distinction in simultaneous interpreting).

I am a consultant interpreter and deliver turnkey language solutions for events of various sizes and complexity where interpretation is required. I regularly take on a wide variety of in-person and remote assignments. 

I work around the world at conferences. I have interpreted at courts of all levels and types in England, Wales, Scotland and Northern Ireland. I have assisted the London Metropolitan Police Force and other constabularies; the UK Borders Agency (UKBA); Her Majesty’s Revenue and Customs, and other government agencies. I regularly carry out translation work for some of the largest companies in Turkey and the UK.
