Professional Polish Interpreter
A confident and approachable Polish interpreter with over 9,000 hours of public service interpreting experience. Has passed the CIoL DPSI (English Law); the Metropolitan Police Test and is currently reading for CIoL DPSI (Health) all in Polish. Is a Registered Public Service Interpreter (full status since 2006) NRPSI No 13213, a member of the Chartered Institute of Interpreters (MCIoL) and the Association of Police and Court Interpreters (APCI).
Experienced in all spheres of public service interpreting from legal (crown, county, magistrates, family and youth courts, the Court of Appeal; police station and prison attendance; witness statements; telephone and video interpreting and work for solicitors, Probation Service, CPS, Parole Board, Witness Care, Youth Offending Service and coronerās office) to healthcare (NHS and private hospitals, GPs, health centres, dental surgeries and IVF treatment) to local government (benefits, housing, welfare, child services, registry office and environmental services).
Numerous agencies currently retain my services and I have worked for eighteen police constabularies, British Transport Police, SOCA/NCA, UK Boarder Agency, HMRC, Trading Standards, Health and Safety Executive, Identity and Passport Service, Gangmasterās Licensing Authority, Office for National Statistics, CAFCASS, crime reduction initiatives, employment tribunals, schools, job centres, insurance companies, accident investigators, counsellors, corporations and businesses; travelling extensively throughout England and Wales and also internationally.
I also teach individuals Polish. I have participated in several CID operations and was awarded a certificate of commendation by His Honour Judge Stokes QC Recorder of Nottingham when interpreting for the CPS at a crown court murder trial.
