Hungarian Interpreter and Translator
Qualified Hungarian interpreter with DPSI/English Law, DPSI Health and Metropolitan Police Test qualifications. My qualifications also include a PhD in Social Anthropology (University College London) and a Masters in Ethnography and Folklore (Eötvös Loránd University, Budapest).
I have been on the National Register of Public Service Interpreters since June 2008 (NRPSI number: 13627) and since then have worked extensively for sectors such as the courts, police, health and social services. I am also a member of the Chartered Institute of Linguists (MCIL).
Before 2008 I worked for BBC Monitoring for 26 years, much of which involved translating from Hungarian into English.
My minimum payment is for 1 hour of interpreting at £28/hour.
