I find interpreting extremely rewarding and am committed to helping people communicate easily in Portuguese and English. I have a wealth of experience, having worked as a Portuguese interpreter in London for over 15 years. My approach is impartial and confidential, so you can be confident communicating in all settings.

I am a chartered linguist (English-Portuguese) and I am passionate about my work. I thoroughly enjoy the variety of interpreting, which has led me to work with many different organisations.
I work closely with organisations such as the NHS, local authorities, schools, solicitors and businesses in London and across the UK. I aim to facilitate smooth communication in all settings. |

Although I’m based in London, I offer remote interpreting services. This means you can organise your meeting flexibly, knowing you’ll have quick access to accurate Portuguese interpreting. We can discuss whether video or telephone interpreting would best suit your needs and I’ll help you set up the call. |
How I work
As a Portuguese interpreter in London, my role is to meet your language needs. I endeavour to quickly build a rapport with my clients, working with empathy and sensitivity.
This helps all parties remain comfortable and confident working with an interpreter. I also believe in a non-judgmental, and impartial approach, no matter the subject.

- Diploma in Public Service Interpreting (DPSI) qualified
- Chartered Institute of Linguists (CIOL) member
- National Register of Public Service Interpreters (NRPSI) member
How I became an interpreter
I came to live in the UK many years ago and worked in the City of London for over 10 years in the private sector. In 2003, I found employment with the Metropolitan Police. This is where I first heard about interpreters.
As a fluent Portuguese speaker, I was fascinated by this and decided to train as a Portuguese interpreter. I qualified as a public service interpreter in English – Portuguese in 2006.
