German and Dutch to English Translator and Subtitler – Dot Roberts
Hi, nice to meet you! My name is Dot Roberts and I am a freelance German and Dutch to English translator (native English) and subtitlerΒ based in Manchester, UK. I am creative, adaptable and always up for a challenge. Ethics and sustainability are important to me and I strive to honour these values in all areas of my life. π±
I create English subtitles (plain and SDH)
Most recently I have been working with Collot Baca Localization, creating and QCing subtitles for well-known British TV shows. I also worked on a project earlier in the year creating subtitles for a charity that supports bereaved children. I have worked with companies such as LUSH and Wayfair, translating articles, interviews, product descriptions and more. Please take a look at my website below to find out more about what I do and projects I have worked on.
In terms of qualifications, I have an MA in Translation Studies from the University of Manchester and a BA in German with Dutch from the University of Nottingham.
I would love to hear from you! Please get in touch to find out how I can help you or your company or to meet for a cuppa. β¨
